Happy Black Friday!!

Hello!!

Today starts the holiday shopping season already! Our holiday craft show also starts today! WooHoo! I'm looking forward to being there and i'm hoping we have a great year again!

My card today was made with a set that Deb K. left me borrow. It's called Scenic Season. Isn't it so pretty....I love those trees & the font of the writing! I was in the mood to use Night of Navy for a change so I went with the Navy, Silver & White color combo. I made a pack of these to sell at the show but I may have to borrow the set again & make some for myself because I love these!!

Thanks for stopping by & I hope you have a fabulous day! ~Wendy

My Thanksgving Day...

As soon as I closed out the last blog update, my photo program worked so I didn't have to wait very long to get my pics uploaded. :)

Here are some family pics & some with Kelsey's friends, Kerri & Jackie. They are 2 of the sweetest girls. They lost their mom to cancer back in June so Kelsey invited them to come over and hang out with us today. I also had to grab a pic of Fluffy too! The baby!! :)

Well, i'm gonna go relax while I have the chance. Tomorrow the craft show starts and that means it will be a very busy day!! My feet will be thanking me too! LOL
Thanks for stopping by & I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving day! :)

Thanksgiving Thursday Week #4

Hi there!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you!!
Today I am sharing the last of the Thanksgiving Thursday cards. I was lucky enough to have a nice little stash to mail out this year. Usually in the hussle & bussle of things I forget to get those cards made & sent out but since I started challenging myself last year i've gotten them done! WooHoo!!
The first card at the top of the post is a super cute RAK from my neighbor & SU Demo, Deb & her hubby, Ed. I loved this turkey card and how she made it that I just had to share!! Thanks so much you guys....I LOVE IT!!! :)
Hope you all had a blessed holiday today w/loved ones. We had dinner with all the kids which is always memorable! It's funny we sit and talk about things when they were little. Gosh, how time passes. Before dinner we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade then the Dog Show from Philly. I love when they show the Bichon Frise, super cute but then all the dogs today were so cute! :)
Well, I will probably be back shortly to share some pics from today. My camera is acting goofy at the moment so when I get that working I will be back!

Mojo Monday #114 With Santa Baby!!

Hi there & Happy Monday!
I have a busy day ahead and first thing I did was check out the Mojo Monday Sketches. I love their sketches and try to play along when I can! For my card today I used a free digi image from Digi Delights by Louby Loo. Their digi images are so cute! I had this Santa and finally found something to use him on. I printed him out on PTI Select White, colored & cut him out. The image actually has a cat coming out of his sack but I cut that off. I threw on some Ultrafine Glitter to the white of his hat & coat. Then I ran my white sheet thru the Cuttlebug with a new embossing folder that I recently got called Season's Greeting's. It's beautiful all by it self but perfect when you have just alittle image to add to it. I wouldn't want to cover too much of it. At the top I added a strip of red that was punched with my Martha Stewart Star Border Punch & a strip of K&Company Christmas Cheer paper. Topped it off with some red grosgrain ribbon & bow. Another card to add to the Christmas card pile. :)
So, how many people out there have been out to see the New Moon movie over the weekend? I know so many people out there are crazy over these books & now the movies. I think i've jump on the bandwagon myself! hehe I liked the first movie but the second was the best so far! Shawn, Kelsey & I went to the 2:30 showing on Saturday afternoon only to find that it was sold out! So, we purchased tickets for the 4pm showing and walked around the mall for awhile. 4pm came and the theater was full! Quite a few of the shows that nite were already sold out. Anyways, the movie was AWESOME and can't wait till June 2010 to see the next one! WooHoo!!!
Well, Kelsey & I have a date in the kitchen today doing some baking but first I need to go get her butt out of bed! She's on holiday break this week while Shawn is on 12 + hours everyday till Thursday. Lots to do so i'd better get to it!
Thanks for stopping by & have a marvelous Monday!

Sweet Treats for the Holidays

Hi there & Happy Sunday!
I'm posting this as I lay in bed ready for beddie byes time. It's pretty late but I wanted to share these cute little Peppermint Treat Bags I made today! I seen someone on SCS made these and I just had to try my hand at them. I used that sweet little penguin from Elzybell's and an old Stamp Up retired set called Holiday Hello. I love that set! ;-)
Anyways, there was alot of punching to these little cuties! My hand actually hurts! LOL I covered both sides of the peppermint patties and placed 4 of them in each bag. The bags are Pretzel Bags from Wilton that I picked up at Micheal's. I think these are super duper cute and hope to make more!

Ink: Memento, Copic Markers

Ways To Use It Challenge 245 & Thanksgiving Thursday Week #3

Happy Thursday!
Sorry for a late post today. It's been busy since I jumped out of bed this morning! I didn't sleep good last nite because Fluffy woke me around 3:30 to go out and roam around the yard so she could potty. By the time I fell back to sleep it was time to get up. I got Kelsey off to school then had to get ready to take Fluffy to the Vet. Her ears have been giving her some issues. The Vet diagnosed her with allergies which we knew she had. She sneezes alot and we noticed her eyes water. He said another sign is if she chews her paws and that she does! He cleaned her ears & put meds in them. Gave her a steriod shot, 2 prescriptions & a special bag of food for her allergies and the bill was over $200!!!! Surprizingly, Shawn did not complain! LOL We also got a new diagnosis on Fluff's funny breathing thing she does and then collapse's. I can't remember what the Dr called it but when I find out i'll pass the condition along to you.
So, I know you didn't come here to read about Fluffy but rather to see some stamp stuff. Today's card was made with the Ways To Use It Challenge 245. We were challenged to make a Thanksgiving card or a Thank You card. It was themed "Giving Thanks" since next week is Thanksgiving. This challenge was also PERFECT for my weekly Thanksgiving Thursday challenge I have for myself. I got plenty of Thanksgiving cards this year. I addressed a few last evening and sent them out today! :) Yippppeeee!!
On my card I used a Whimsie Doodle Digi Image. This one is called Get Stuffed! hehe Sounds like what we all do on Turkey day, huh? LOL I loved this turkey & he was so easy to color! I will get this card addressed tomorrow & send him out in the mail to someone special.
Since it's raining and Shawn is still at work, Kelsey & I are gonna dig out the Christmas stuff to get a head start on that job! It's gonna start looking like Christmas around here now! :)
Thanks for stopping by! ~Wendy
